Best Vietnamese Sandwiches

I first discovered Vietnamese sandwiches in Seattle last year and fell in love. I then found a place in Portland that has them but couldn't find anything local...

Until now! I just discovered Tan Tan Café & Delicatessen and they make the best sandwich I have ever had. They are located at 316 SE 123rd Ave., Suite A3 in Vancouver, WA. You can reach them at 360-892-3400.

In addition to sandwiches they offer full Vietnamese cuisine. Go and give them a shot! You won't be sorry.

These towers sit on top of Prune Hill in Camas, WA. They are right next door to where the deer and antelope roam.

Notice the wind blowing the flags. I never think about the fact that Vancouver, WA is the World Headquarters for Nautilus, Inc. Maker of the Bowflex and so many other exercise products. It's cool to be in Vancouver!

Too Much Mouse

The hazards of being a high tech realtor! Apparently using your mouse too much can cause pain in the arm and wrist. Going to therapy and wearing the brace should help. That is good news since you can't keep a good realtor down...

Classic Crystal

I love these old crystal door knobs. Very beautiful. I'm not such a fan of the skeleton key hole. Not the easiest thing to use.

Storms & Planes

Anytime we have a storm PDX reroutes the planes into a North/South direction. The path is directly over my house. Since we live less than a mile from the Columbia River and the airport sits on the Oregon side on the river the planes are very low when they go over. It actually shakes the house as the landing gear clips the tops of our trees.

A Card To Make You Laugh

This made me chuckle. Enjoy!

Christmas Cards Already?

I can't believe that the cards are already out in full force? My family said Vancouver Mall is ready for Santa any day. Scary!
